THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY
The General Assembly involves all active and affiliate members of the Union . It meets once a year to review and settle the accounts; its decisions are taken in a form of resolutions following favourable recommendations of the Executive Committee. Its President is also the President of the Executive Committee.
THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
The Executive Committee is the managing and supervisory body of all activities of the Union . It is composed of 16 members representing the various sub regions of the Continent. Each sub region has a vice-president who is chiefly in charge of reviving the Union 's activities in own sub region. The Board of the Executive Committee is formed by a President, five Vice-Presidents, a Comptroller.
THE SCIENTIFIC COMMITTEE
The Scientific Committee is the technical organ of the Union . It is responsible for analysing the common problems facing by the members and working out the study of specific projects interesting the members or external partners of UPDEA. In addition its responsibility includes preparation of the Union events on scientific aspects. It is organised into Study Committees within which are set up Working Groups.
THE GENERAL SECRETARIAT
The General Secretariat is the permanent body in charge of managing the Union . It materialises into schemes and programmes of action, the decisions, recommendations and resolutions passed by the Union . It plays the interface between organs of UPDEA, the member utilities and external partners. It is led by a Secretary General.
